From creator blog roots to a modern game studio platform.
SunKoiWish began in 2011 as a web-first brand covering games, anime, technology, and education. Over time, that energy shifted from commentary into making games directly, with the site now serving as the studio-facing home for that body of work.
Origin story
The original SunKoiWish site moved through several web stacks, starting with vanilla PHP, CSS, and HTML before later using WordPress and Joomla. During its blog era, the brand reached more than 5,000 monthly unique visitors while building an audience around games, anime, technology, and education.
That publishing chapter closed in 2021, but it also laid the groundwork for what came next: a studio identity with a stronger emphasis on original releases, long-tail IP stewardship, and a more ambitious presentation layer.
Build memorable playable experiences.
SunKoiWish focuses on shipping projects that emphasize story, character, and emotional texture, while keeping enough platform discipline to support future growth.
Indie heart, enterprise posture.
The studio presentation is intentionally elevated so each release feels like part of a broader slate rather than an isolated side project.
Catalog clarity and franchise readiness.
That means better portfolio framing, cleaner supporting pages, and room for future expansion across game pages, publishing beats, and studio updates.
